Music Major - Virtual Instrument

Discover the sounds of a pure 80s toy synth: the VTech (or sometimes Yeno-branded) "MUSIC MAJOR" and its five presets, now turned into a virtual instrument. Organ, violin, flute, trumpet, piano... all the classic sounds of these kinds of toys are here. Each note of the instrument has been recorded to preserve its unique characteristics, including its charming flaws: some high notes may slightly drift out of perfect tune, while others might carry a subtle gritty background... all the retro-lo-fi quirks we love about this type of instrument!

As a bonus for sampler enthusiasts, I’ve included C3 and C4 notes for each instrument, so you can integrate them into your favorite samplers (Elektron Digitakt, MicroFreak, DAW, Eurorack sampler, and more). Enjoy!

To use this virtual instrument, simply install the Decent Sampler plugin (by David Hilowitz) following the instructions included in the text file of the ZIP package.
